FIRST EDITION. A COMPLETE SET OF ALL 14 FASCICLES. RARE: ABPC records only one other at auction: the Martin copy (Sotheby's, 12 December 1989, lot 1778). The plates include animals from Siberia and Central Asia, like the Kyrgyz ram, and birds brought from Kamchatka and Bering Island to St. Petersburg by Georg Wilhelm Steller.
