Gilt-finished three-quarter plate lever movement, some jewels carried in screwed gold chatons, gold cuvette with inscription on the interior, gold dial centrally engraved with flowers, Roman numerals, two subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds and up-and-down indicator, engraved case and bow, the back lid with opaque light and medium blue enamel with paste-set arabesques, the front lid similarly decorated with central aperture surrounded by Roman numerals, dial and movement signed, case stamped with maker's mark LN and London date letter for 1875
