A gilt bronze figure of Shakyamuni
Tibet, 15th Century
Seated on a double-lotus with the hands in bhumisparsamudra with a vajra resting before him, clad in a sanghati gathered over the ankles and draped over the shoulder, the face with polychrome mouth and heavy-lidded eyes, the hair polychrome and in tight curls, the base sealed with a double-vajra
