A bronze figure of Shadakshari Avalokiteshvara
Tibet, 14th Century
Seated on a double-lotus base with beaded rim with his primary hands in anjalimudra and his secondary hands in vitarkamudra and holding a mala and lotus, the face with inlaid urna flanked by pendant earrings and surmounted by a jeweled tiara, the hair pulled into a chignon and capped with a head, with a sash emanating from the back and forming an aureole, the base sealed with a double-vajra
