A bronze figure of Green Tara
Tibet, 14th Century
Seated in lalitasana on a double-lotus base, her pendant leg resting on a diminutive lotus blossom and her hands in vitarkamudra, dressed in a tight-fitting sanghati with an incised lotus pattern draped over one shoulder and secured with a belt, adorned with various necklaces and large hoop earrings and flanked by lotuses blossoming at the shoulders, the hair with remains of polychromy pulled into a high chignon and secured with a foliate knop
