CENTRAL ASIA, 14TH CENTURY
The fragment with short vertical foot, the surface decorated with a moulded white gambolling deer surrounded by meandering leafy vine and highlighted by blue dots and turquoise splashes, the decoration reserved against grey ground with tight black scrolls, the exterior with moulded white vertical lines with blue splashes alternated with grey bands with black lines, areas of iridescence
6¼in. (16cm.) diam.
