The vase-shaped central section applied with three winged angel heads and with bead girdles, the hexafoil foot engraved with the Crucifixion and fleur-de-lys motifs, gilt interior, the foot further engraved at a later date with the royal crown above a cypher R reversed and interlaced, the paten engraved with the Sacred Monogram in a sunburst
