The obverse with a seated lion, his body facing right, his head turned back, flanked by two confronting panthers, their bodies elongated, their tails curling, rosettes in the field; the reverse with a splayed-winged siren, her head turned back; a solid black band encircling below, rays above the foot, lotus-bud chain on the shoulders, a red fillet at the join of the foot and body
