Leopoldine Kirchmayr and her dog

Leopoldine is Cherubino's daughter. This work was passed down through the family to the present day. Cherubino married an English girl, Mary Sprackett and moved to England where he found life as an artist to be difficult as he was less well-known than on the Continent at the time.
