Lot Essay

Mahood is most well known as a political cartoonist, first for Punch, where he was the magazine's Assistant Art Editor (1960-1965), and then as the first political cartoonist for The Times (1966-1988). He also worked for the Evening Standard, Financial Times and Daily Mail.
