Recto with a pair of lotus blossoms, the bulbs marked with striations surrounded by abundant sprigs of petals; verso with a large lotus viewed horizontally, flanked on either side by a pair of birds with sharply pointed beaks and bushy wings, both seated on their short legs, one with its head turned to the right
