A silver- and copper-inlaid gilt bronze figure of Vajrasattva
Nepal, 20th century
Seated on a double-lotus base and holding the vajra to his chest and the ghanta in his lap, wearing a striped dhoti incised with foliate and chakra patterns and inlaid with copper and silver with one fold hanging elegantly over the edge of the base, adorned with various necklaces inlaid with hardstones, the face with downcast expression surmounted by a tall jeweled tiara and backed by a flaming nimbus
