LATE MING DYNASTY, EARLY 17TH CENTURY
The sides well cast in relief on each side with a winged dragon flanked by various mythical creatures, all picked out in gilding and reserved on a wave ground below a band of simplified dragon scroll and above a band of foliate scroll on the slightly flared foot, with a pair of stylized dragon handles, the center of the base with a gilded six-character maker's mark, Yunjian Zhu Zhenming zhi (made by Zhu Zhenming of Yunjian), inscribed in seal script within a rectangular panel
