TWO GLASS SNUFF BOTTLES

One a transparent red glass bottle of flattened ovoid form carved on one main side with prunus and on the other with pine, the narrow sides carved with branches of bamboo, jadeite stopper; the second an opaque yellow glass bottle of compressed ovoid form, the surface left undecorated to highlight the attractive color, glass stopper
2¼ and 2 1/8 in. (5.4 and 5.2 cm.) high (2)

Acquired in Hong Kong in the 1960s-70s.
