The central panel engraved and inlaid in high relief with an eagle on a rock in tempestuous waves, the reverse with quail, beneath a band of clouds to the shoulder, the sculpted feet and neck inlaid in various coloured cloisonné enamels with stylised flowers, applied handles and finial in the form of ho-o birds, silver liner
