2 volumes, 8° (228 x 132mm). 20 wood-engraved plates after Henry Valentin. (Some plates spotted at margins, occasional light soiling, some creasing in vol. I, quire M in vol. II loose.) Original blue cloth, uncut (restoration to spines, upper joints of vol. II slightly split, inner hinges repaired). Provenance: Dr. R.W. Porritt (ownerhip signature dated July 1852 and book label) -- [George Cosmatos; sold Sotheby's, London, 23 March 2005, lot 92].
