Woven in wools and silks, with a central coat of arms, inscribed 'PATIENS ESTO' and surmounted by a winged putto and coronet, beneath a black hat and ribbon tied canopy and within a fruiting, foliate border, the Brussels town mark and the weavers initials 'I.L.C' to the blue outer slip
