CIRCA 1740, POSSIBLY SOUTH GERMAN
Elaborately-carved overall, the arc-en-arbalète Sarancolin marble top above a pierced frieze centred by a cartouche with a stylised baronet crowned cypher and flanked by foliate sprays, the sides carved centred by heart-shaped coquilles, on conformingly-carved and oak leaf-entwined cabriole legs joined by a shaped stretcher centred by a shell, on scrolled feet, originally with further swags to frieze, the marble top later
