LATE NEOLITHIC PERIOD/EARLY BRONZE AGE, CIRCA 2000-1700 BC
The soft, pale yellow, semi-translucent plaque appears to be fragmentary and is carved on both sides as a face in profile, which is detailed with a large eye, and with a prominent, bulbous nose and a thick-lipped mouth along one edge, while there are notches carved along the top and opposite edge. There is a single hole drilled from both sides at the narrow end. There is some earth encrustation.
