A SMALL WHITE AND GREY JADE CARVING OF TWO FISH
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The carving is convex and depicts two fish swimming amidst stems of lotus flowers and leaves. The larger fish is carved from the white area of the stone, the smaller fish from the grey area, while a small area of russet skin highlights a water weed to one side.
