THREE SMALL JADE GARMENT HOOKS
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The first two are undercut and carved in openwork on the top with a chilong grasping a lingzhi branch in its mouth as it crawls towards the dragon-head hook. They are carved on the underside with a circular button. The stone of both carvings is of an even, pale grey-green tone. The third is carved in relief and openwork with a similar design on the top and also has a circular button on the underside. The grey-green stone is of even color on the underside, with the darker inclusions on the top used to highlight the chilong, as well as the head of the dragon.
