A WHITE JADE ARCHAISTIC PENDANT
17TH/18TH CENTURY
The pendant is well carved in the round with two chilong crawling across the top and around the sides of a bi that is carved on the underside with a field of bosses. Together with a white jade openwork oval plaque, Ming dynasty, that is mounted on a gilt-bronze hinged box. The plaque is carved with a chilong crawling amidst a scrolling lotus stem within a lobed border.
