A WHITE JADE-MOUNTED SILVER HAND MIRROR
THE JADE ELEMENTS, 18TH CENTURY
The handle is a pale greenish-white jade garment hook carved and undercut on top with a chilong crawling towards the dragon-head hook, and is attached to a silver mount on the underside. The back of the mirror is mounted with a large white jade oval plaque, carved in relief with a fruiting and flowering peach tree, a bat and lingzhi, which is set in a silver border.
