A SMALL PALE GREENISH-WHITE JADE PEAR-SHAPED VASE
18TH/19TH CENTURY
Raised on a faceted pedestal foot, the two convex sides of the flattened body are carved in low relief with the 'Three Friends', with flowering prunus branches on one side and bamboo and a pine branch on the reverse. The neck is flanked by a pair of dragon scroll handles on the narrow faceted sides below the bulbous mouth. The semi-translucent stone is of pale greenish-white color.
