A FINELY CARVED WHITE JADE PENDANT
18TH CENTURY
The plaque of shaped rectangular form is carved at the top with ruyi scroll above a scene of a farmer walking in a setting of a pavilion and a pine tree on one side, and a lotus stem beside a five-character inscription in seal characters on the reverse, that describes the scene. The semi-translucent stone is of even white color and is finely polished.
2 1/8 in. (5.5 cm.) high, wood stand
