A PALE GREENISH-WHITE JADE FINGER CITRON-FORM VASE
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The deep vase is carved in the form of a finger citron with curling ends. It is supported on a tall, oval foot formed by gnarled, leafy branches, and carved with a smaller fruit on the side. The well-polished stone is of pale, greenish-white color, with cloudy white inclusions on one side and very pale russet tinges on the 'fingers.'
