A SMALL WHITE JADE HORSE AND MONKEY GROUP
18TH CENTURY
The group is well-carved with a recumbent horse, the legs tucked under the body, and the head turned to look at the monkey clambering on its back. The monkey is carefully balanced on the horse while holding the bridle in the right hand and resting the left hand on the muzzle of the horse. The stone is of pale greenish-white tone.
