The case decorated overall in première partie, the circular dial with inset enameled Roman chapters, above a pierced plaque centered by an oval enamel panel signed FRANCOIS.H.DUCHESNE.A.PARIS, the movement with three train barrels with signed back plate, shaped pillars, silk suspension and two numbered count wheels, quarter striking on two bells and the hour on a larger bell, with a glazed and shaped hinged door above Cupid and Psyche and surmounted by a figure of Victory, above foliate scrolled legs headed by caryatids, the bracket with further caryatids and a berried finial
