(Light marginal thumb-soiling). Contemporary calf by Thomas Gosden (1780-1840), lavishly decorated in gilt, sporting tools on spine and centre of sides, gilt edges (very lightly rubbed), in a morocco-backed folding case. Provenance: William Thearsby Poole (ownership inscription on endpaper and recto of frontispiece, dated 1841).

Nice copy. Top corners rubbed. If you look hard, some light rubbing and creasing along the joints which may have had some restoration infill to cracks.
