Two colour lithographs by Ernst, 8 plates after Dali, Chirico, Duchamp, Toyen, and others, and illustrations throughout. Original white wrappers, upper side printed in various colours (joints starting to split at the spine caps); grey clamshell case by Cambras, lettered with blue leather onlays on the spine and upper side, protected in a blue cloth case.
FIRST EDITION. ONE OF 115 COPIES SIGNED BY BRETON AND ERNST, this one numbered 56. A very good, mostly unopened copy, complete with the two Ernst lithographs only issued with this limited edition, and in a fine clamshell case by Cambras.
