PROBABLY 19TH CENTURY
The upper and lower parts with indentations, the top painted with an insect and a sprig, the mid-section with a continuous band of indianische Blumen on a seeded blue ground within iron-red lines, the footrim decorated with a continuous band of purple scrolls and triangle ornament, the interior richly-gilt (some rubbing to purple decoration at footrim, slight wear to gilt interior)
