1790, BLUE INTERLACED L'S MARKS ENCLOSING DATE LETTERS NN, PAINTER'S FB AND B MARKS FOR FRANCOIS-MARIE BARRAT (ONCLE), GILDER'S 2000 FOR VINCENT, INCISED LETTERS AND NUMERALS
The cup of flared trumpet-shape with loop handles, painted with neo-classical vases on pale-blue circular medallions, within pink bands decorated with purple laurel and tooled gilt cartouches, supporting vases of pink roses and suspending floral swags, within mint-green bands painted with purple laurel within gilt line rims (the cup cracked and restuck in two sections with associated in-filling, some flaking and retouching to gilt rims)

François-Marie Barrat (1769-91 and 1795-96) was a painter of flowers and patterns and Henry-François Vincent (1753-1806) was a gilder at the Sèvres factory.
