A SMALL CHINESE PALE CELADON JADE PIERCED CENSER AND COVER
18TH CENTURY
The censer of gently rounded form rising to a waisted mouth rim, intricately carved and pierced around the body with peony scrolls including large blooms on leafy stems, the sides with a pair of handles formed by peony blooms, the domed cover similarly carved, the stone of a pale tone with areas of opaque and milky white mottling
5 3/8 in. (13 cm.) across the handles
