2o (333 x 232 mm). ILLUSTRATIONS: 12 illustrations on plates, and numerous illustrations and vignettes in text, a suite of all illustrations in black and white. BINDING: Contemporary blue morocco gilt stamp signed by A. PINARD-LEFORT ruled in gilt and black with white morocco inlays to an astronomical design probably after a design by Schmied; turn ins with morocco inlays, gilt and silver print (some very light rubbing to edges and corners).
FIRST EDITION OF THIS TRANSLATION, LIMITED ISSUE number 138 of 175 copies of a total design of 195 signed by Schmied on limitation page and on first sheet for the extra suite.
