OTTOMAN TURKEY, 18TH CENTURY
Of rounded form with short foot and wide everted rim, the cavetto with moulded ribbed decoration, the white ground painted in cobalt-blue, bole-red, yellow and green, the centre with a large stylised pomegranate surrounded by small flowers within blue bands, rim with scrolling flowering vine on a red dotted ground, underside of the rim with small floral palmettes also on a ground of red dots, underside of the foot with maker's mark, intact
6 3/8in. (16.2cm.) diam.
