Lot Essay
A note written in a late 19th or early 20th century hand that accompanies this manuscript reads, "These few words are written by the order of "Amar al-S'ar, rafat-saar, Pasmudeda atmar, Suja aldawara, marrafa malaqhal Tahmasle Kuli, by Husain Tubrazi".
This manucript was copied for Tahmasp Quli Beyga. As well as library inspection inscriptions, the manuscript has various Mughal seals, including that of I'timad Khan, an official of Shah Jahan, dated AH 1063/1652-53 AD; Abdullah, born into familial service (khanah-zad) to 'Alamgir (Aurangzeb) and Muhammad Najm al-din Khan, Chief Qadi under Awrangzeb, dated AH 1206/1791-92 AD.
