The rectangular frame surmounted with a broken arch pediment and carved overall with scrolling strapwork inset with mother-of-pearl panels painted with foliate and floral spray cartouches, later rectangular beveled plate, the reverse with a small printed paper label 268, restoration to decoration, possibly formerly a frame
