A FINELY CARVED MOTTLED SPINACH-GREEN JADE BOULDER
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The boulder is of irregular form, deeply carved and pierced depicting a boy seated on a buffalo in a tree-lined rocky landscape beside pavilions. The reverse is carved with a flowing waterfall within a similar landscape. The stone is of an attractive semi-translucent dark green tone with some lighter striations.
