A CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL TEAPOT AND COVER
18TH CENTURY
The compressed teapot is applied with a gilt C-shaped handle and upright spout coming from a dragon's head. The exterior is decorated with prunus on a cracked-ice pattern, all reserved on a midnight-blue ground. The base is gilt, the interior is covered in a pale yellow enamel, the cover is similarly decorated.
