The geometric inlaid top centred by a roundel of alabastro fiorito, brocatello di spagna, malachite and lapis lazuli, and with radiating segments with oval medallions, incorporating verde antico, Semesanto, Africano and others and bordered in Giallo di Siena, and with a beaded edge, above a bulbous turned and fluted pedestal and a concave sided base with lion paw feet and inset brass castors, minor losses and repairs to marble
