Lot Essay

The present tureen is of the same form as those in the Liechtenstein Service, and the decoration is very closely related. Compare the Liechtenstein tureen illustrated in M. Chilton, ed., Fired by Passion, Stuttgart, 2009, p. 836, fig. 9:63.
