Lot Essay

Elvis commissioned Memphis jeweller Harry Levitch to customise a handful of these Mathey-Tissot watches which he gifted to friends and acquaintances. According to the accompanying letter, this watch was given to James Soohen, the brother-in-law of Elvis' Tour Manager Joe Esposito.
