Lot Essay

The necklace was originally donated to the Elvis Presley Museum, Memphis, in 1979 by Mr & Mrs S.A. Thompson, the parents of Linda Thompson. Beauty queen Linda Thompson had a relationship with Elvis Presley from July 1972 to November 1976, shortly after the breakdown of his marriage to Priscilla.
