Four pairs of gloves owned by Marilyn Monroe, 1950s, comprising: one pair of buff suede mousquetaire gloves with imitation pearl button fastening to wrist, both inscribed inside in black ink A Miller 40, the gloves identical to those worn by Monroe when she was introduced to and shook hands with Queen Elizabeth II at the Royal Film Première of The Battle Of The River Plate at the Empire Theatre, London, 29 October, 1956; a pair of black leather driving gloves labelled Saks Fifth Avenue; one pair of ivory kid gloves labelled Gloves by Hammer of Hollywood; one pair of black leather matinee gloves; and a single black suede glove (9)
