Pitteri all designed by Giambattista Piazzetta (1682-1754), 20 charming culs-de-lampe, numerous floral initials. Contemporary Venetian red morocco gilt, gilt and gauffered edges; original marbled calf gilt pull-off case; cloth slipcase. Provenance: John A. Saks (bookplate); acquired from Bernard Quaritch, 1981.
