With double-edged blade of flattened hexagonal section with waved cutting edges and incised with three lines on each side extending almost to the tip, ricasso of tapering flattened rectangular section with two short side-lugs, each side-lug with punched and incised decoration, the ricasso and upper part of the blade with black leather covering (some defects), iron guard with double side-rings to each side, and stout swelling straight rounded quillons each with flattened terminal, black-leather-covered wooden grip (some defects to leather), and large plummet-shaped pommel with prominent tang-button
