Ces deux tableaux sont à rapprocher d'une composition passée en vente chez Sotheby's à Monaco le 14 février 1983 (lot 615, huile sur toile, 119 x 145 cm.) comme 'Jan Fyt' et qui reproduit à l'identique les deux faucons se situant au premier plan.
