Of globular form, the interior applied with a bust of Napoleon, inscribed PEREAT in brown, the exterior painted with a band of ochre leaves within brown trailing circular branches and bands, cracked across, restored and riveted, one handle riveted, footrim chip, glaze scratching

Possibly H.P. Markham, Southwell, Nottinghamshire, or Grendon, Northamptonshire, where acquired on 26 October (?), as 'Pot de Chambre' (£1.15s.).
