AN APULIAN RED-FIGURED VOLUTE-KRATER
CIRCA 340-320 B.C.
Each side with a female head in profile to the left, a palmette complex on the neck and below each handle, with vertical lines on the shoulders and below the rim, the volutes on the obverse with molded facing female heads, a raised knob on the shoulder on either side of the left handle, with details in added white on the obverse
