Calligraphy on each opposite page, signed, with a total of twenty-four seals of the artist
Titleslip by Egami Keizan (1862-1924), signed with one seal

Lot Essay

Egami Keizan was born in Nagasaki and lived in Kyoto until his death at 63 years old. Keizan was a follower of the Southern school of Chinese painting as well as Calligraphy. He was good friend to early 20th century artists such as Wu Changshuo (1844-1927), Lu Hui (1851-1920) and others.
